What's Cooking With Trice!!! (Turkey Quesadillas)

Hey Guys!

Are you tired of the same ole' chicken, spaghetti, and meatloaf?Well, I'm back with a QUICK, EASY, and very FLAVORFUL weeknight meal that everyone will enjoy!!!  It is perfect for a weeknight meal that you don't want to fuss over.
Here's what you need:
1.) Cut up half an onion and green pepper and saute them in a little butter and olive oil.
2.) Season your ground turkey with salt, garlic powder, and a little paprika.  Brown your turkey.
3.) After your turkey is nicely browned, add your onions, green pepper, and corn to the meat and combine.
4.) After the corn is heated through, sit the mixture to the side and prepare your bottom tortilla with cheese.
5.) Add your meat mixture to the tortilla and transfer it over to the skillet.  Make sure the heat is low-med to prevent from burning the tortilla.  (I learned through trial and error LOL!)
6.) Once you've transferred your bottom tortilla w/ cheese and mixture to the skillet, add a little more cheese and another tortilla on top.  Press down on the tortillas for about a minute, then carefully flip and do the same on the other side.  This was pretty tough.  I may have to add more cheese next time to keep it all in.  When the tortillas are nice and brown, plate, cut, and enjoy!
These were soooo flavorful.  I really like ground turkey!  It is so much healthier than ground beef and taste just as good if not better.  Try this at home, I was done in less than 15 minutes!  The next day I made turkey soft tacos with the leftover mixture!

Here is my Black History Fact for today:
In 1988, Naomi Campbell was the first black model to appear on the cover of French Vogue.  Although she doesn't consider herself the best role model, she feels that young ladies can learn from her mistakes.

Have a great remainder of the week!  It's hump-day, so the weekend will be here before ya know it!

  6. First off, that looks DELISH!

Second, even if Naomi doesn't consider herself the best role model, I think by her saying that girls can learn from her mistakes is a wonderful role model thing to say. It takes guts to admit our faults. No one's perfect. But that doesn't make them not worthy of being looked up to. So she gets a bravo from me.
