Anjolee: The Art of Jewelry Review

Hey Dolls,

I am so excited to do my first review!  I was contacted by Anjolee a fine jewelry manufacturer who specializes in custom made pieces.  When I visited their website I was ga-ga over the gorgeous diamonds that sparkled about the page! :) What makes them even better, is that they are more than happy to customize a piece of jewelry to suit your individual taste and budget.
Here's a little information about Anjolee.  They were founded in 1977 as a high-end jewelry manufacturer.  They originally started selling their products to wholesalers and retail stores and quickly gained recognition as the leading manufacturer of high-end diamond jewelry.  Anjolee's product line has expanded throughout the years and includes an extensive collection of bridal jewelry rings, diamond tennis bracelet, earrings, diamond necklaces  , and diamond pendants.

I love necklaces, so when they contacted me to do a review, I was happy to review their beautiful Double Circle Gemstone Drop Pendant.
I enjoyed having the option to have them custom make my piece of jewelry to review so I choose this pendant with 10k white gold, size .38 ct, set with and a lovely topaz gemstone accented with cz.

Anjolee has exceptional customer service and were very expeditious in creating my pendant and shipping it to me.  I was a happy camper when I received this gorgeous necklace in the mail so quickly!

It was just as beautiful as I anticipated!

I highly recommend Anjolee the next time you want to purchase fine jewelry.  Their product is impeccable and their customer service is remarkable.
This pendant was provided by Anjolee for the purpose of this review. The opinions are my own.

That's all for now!  I'll talk to you all very soon!

Minty Fresh

Hey Dolls,

Today is my Friday!!!! Excited woo-hoo!!! One of my best friends is getting married on Saturday, which happens to be my birthday and I'll be heading out of town.  Here is my work OOTD!!!

This store called Charming Charlie just opened up near my house and let me just tell you.....they have every accessory in every color and I am beyond stoked!  The first 2 or 3 times I went there, I was so overwhelmed that I couldn't buy anything.  It's definitely one of those stores you purposely go into for something specific.  If not ya may end up spending more that what you planned on because EVERYTHING IS CUTE!!!

This necklace and these earrings came from there.  Their prices are amazing too!  Oh, and they sell clothes and shoes too...SCORE!!!
My camera girl was making me laugh so hard! LOL! Can you say cheese!
A cold front moved in on Monday but it warmed up nicely today and I am so happy about it because I'm so over the cold weather right now.  I've taken out the sandals and want to leave them out for a while!
Blazer: H&M
Dress: Ross
Sandals:  Kenneth Cole (gift from my boo)

That's all for now loves!  Talk to you all soon.

Last Weekend

Hey Dolls,

I pray everyone had a fab weekend!  I have to say I had an amazing time this past weekend.  I went to the movies Friday night to see "Think Like A Man". It was straight.  I think Kevin Hart made the movie worthwhile with all of his crazy antics!  Here's my outfit for that evening.
Blouse and Necklace:  Ross
Jeans:  Forever 21
Heels:  DShoes
Ring & Watch:  Betsey Johnson
Bracelet:  Vegas Boutique
After the movie, it was late (the early shows were SOLD OUT) and my friends and I wanted some diner inspired cuisine so we went to "Ole Faithful"....Denny's. lol!
I have to admit...I've never been disappointed with their food.  It's tasty and the prices are even better.  To add to our experience there is always great entertainment in Denny's when your there late at night. I'll just say we burned several calories with all of the laughing we did!

Here's what we had to eat:
Grand Slamwich
Breakfast Skillet
French Toast Slam
Everything was delicious!
Denny's on Urbanspoon

If you read my previous post I told you all that I chaperoned Grad Bash at Universal Studios and Islands of Adventures in Orlando last Saturday.  We had an amazing time but when we first got there my flats broke.....I know right!  How do flats break?
I was forced to pay an $34.00 for some Crocs that did NOT compliment my outfit very well. LOL!  However, my feet were extra comfy for the 8 hours we walked around the park.
Nevertheless, my colleagues and I had a blast!!!  We were able to fast pass every ride, in fact we got on each one twice! We wobbled and cupid shuffled, we ate good, lost eye glasses on roller coasters,  laughed a lot, and just had a flat out good time.  ....I think we may have had a little more fun than the students.

Anywho,  how was your weekend?
I'll talk to you all soon.

Spring has sprung!

Hey Loves,

I'm so happy that the weekend is finally here!  Since I didn't chaperon the prom last weekend, I'll  be chaperoning Grad Bash on Saturday.  For those of you who don't know what that is, Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure in Orlando, Fl shut the parks down and lets seniors in from Florida high schools for a evening of unlimited rides, food, and fun!!!  This should be more fun than prom would've been.
I've gone before and had a blast with colleagues so this should be fun!
I love the colors from this outfit!  I think they're perfect for this time of year.
If you ever go to Universal/Islands of Adventure, you have got to get on the following rides:  Mummy Returns, The Simpsons, Hulk, Dueling Dragons, and of course The Harry Potter ride!  Fun, fun, fun!!!  I think I'm going to give the Fear Factor experience a shot too....for the 3rd time. LOL!

That's all for now friends! Enjoy your weekend!!!

Christmas Tree???

Hi Dolls,

We have made it over the hump!!! I've got a work OOTD for you so I'll keep it short and sweet! To all of my new followers, welcome!!!  So glad to have ya!  To my faithful followers, much love to ya!
Soooo....I'm sure you read the title of this post so I have to share a conversation that took place with the kiddos today.
Student: "Miss, you look so nice today!"
Me:  "Awww, thank you!"
Different Random Student:  " Yes You Do!  Looking like a sexy Christmas tree!"
Me: .........O_o
Me: ......get out
Kids definitely do say the darndest things and I have to admit, they crack me up sometimes.  However, I have a zero tolerance for children who are disrespectful and don't know their place.  My student apologized for stepping out of line so I let him stay :)
If you're interested, click here to see how I rocked these shoes before.  I rocked them with a really cute Marilyn Monroe-esq dress!!! Shopping the closet has been really fun for me.  I always knew I had a lot of clothes but found myself wearing the same things over and over again.  I am now rediscovering why I purchased certain items and I'm definitely getting my money's worth now.

I'll be back soon!  The weekend is almost here!!!!!

Sunday's Best on Wednesday!

Hi Dolls,

So here is one of the posts I told you about yesterday. I liked the outfits but the picture quality sucked in just about all of them. Here they are anyways. Hope you can look past the clarity.
Click here to see how I wore this skirt before.
Service, as always, was good.  The sermon topic was about putting our trust in the Lord with all of our hearts. Ofcourse, I know first hand that this can be difficult but when you learn how to trust God with all of your heart, your faith increases.  Without faith, it is impossible to please God.
We've got to trust God for the impossible and he'll give us the desires of our heart.

Lazy Saturdays

Hey Dolls,

I pray everyone had a fabulous weekend! I decided not to go to the Prom Saturday night.  I was having one of those lazy know the kind where you just don't want to do anything but lounge around in yoga pants and eat ice cream, watching Martin marathons......LOL!!!  (Well that's what I did)

Here is my work OOTD for today! The students are state testing today so I decided to wear something comfy and easy to move around in as I proctored.
Im still shopping the closet!!!  Click Here  to see how I wore this dress before!  I can hardly wait for summer to get here so I can get my shop on again!!! (Confession:  Soooooo, I've bought an item here and there but I haven't went shopping-shopping yet..... lol)
I've taken pictures of 3 different outfits since the last time I posted but the pictures just did not come out right!  Don't you hate when that happens?  They were really cute outfits but the quality of the pictures sucked.  Maybe I'll do a "Didn't make the cut" post so you can see them anyways.

Feeling a little...."Nauti"cal

Hey Lovelies!

As I mentioned earlier, I am really into stripes right now.  I don't know what it is but I'm loving them!  Here is my work OOTD.

When I first saw this dress, I saw it in green and navy blue.  I thought, oh what a cute dress, I'm gonna come back and get it later.  I should have known better because of course it was gone when I returned.  They had this pink and navy blue version instead which was the second best option so I bought it!

One thing I love about the spring and summer is wearing maxi dresses!  They're so easy and come in so many styles!  Love it!
Surprisingly I don't have any pink sandals...anymore (may the rest in peace) and the navy wedges I have didn't look right so I paired this outfit with my cognac Luichiny sandals and a cognac skinny belt! I think the colors compliment each other well.  What do you think?
Earrings are from Bealls Outlet.  Their clothing selections aren't that great but they have the cutest earrings!
Dress is from Juicy Couture!  Have a great day!

Come on Summer and Soups On Review

Hey Dolls,

Back with a work OOTD!  I am beyond stoked that summer vacay will be here before you know it.  We are in countdown mode over here!!!  It has definitely been a long year.
What do you guys have planned for the summer?  I don't really have much planned as of yet but I would love to take a trip to NYC for a play or Chicago for good eats!!!
I am really into stripes right now!!!  I think I may wear them again

Soooooo this is a dress not a blouse and skirt!  I bought it and the wedges from Ross a while ago.

So yesterday I forgot to bring lunch to work so after work I decided to go to a spot I've been wanting to try called Soups On Jacksonville, a gourmet soup company........
They change their menu daily so click here if you'd like to see it.  I already knew that my meal would cost about $9 so I prepared myself to taste some awesome soup and phenomenal sandwich that's much better than Panera Bread, one of my absolute favorite places for soup and sandwiches. Hey if I was going to pay that, it should be good right????

Welllll to get right to this review, I'll start with the pros:

1.) They have really cute tables with veggies and chickens on them.

2.) I loved the colorful images of fruit and veggies on the wall and the AC was pumping which was nice considering the weather outside yesterday!

3.) I have a thing for handwritten menus........

 4.) The food looked appetizing.....

Ok enough of that!  On to the unfortunates.
- I ordered the roast beef sandwich and Maryland Crab soup. The roast beef sandwich comes with lettuce, tomato, roast beef, white cheddar, and horseradish mayo.  I asked the gentleman who took my order if he could substitute my horseradish mayo with regular mayo and he told me he would sandwich....still had horseradish mayo..... (Strike 1)
I really don't like to complain about my food or service unless absolutely warranted and since I was able to tolerate the horseradish mayo, I just ate the sandwich, which wasn't half bad.  The beef could've been a little more tender but not horrible.
I ordered the spiced orange iced tea which really wasn't bad at all.  It was quite refreshing actually. (Thumbs up :))

Ok on to this Maryland Crab soup..... looks good huh?  Looks aren't everything. (Strike 2)

Thank God for seasoning.

At this point I was willing to give them another try on another day until I dipped my spoon into my soup and pulled this out......A HAIR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  GROSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Strike 3, 4, and 5)

Needless to say, I complained to the guy who took my order and he says "I don't know where it came from because my hair is short, would you like another bowl?"  Annoyed at his insinuating comment I politely told him to give me my money back, which he did, and I left.
Soup's On Jacksonville on Urbanspoon

I really wanted to like them but I can probably bet you money, I won't go back.  Panera Bread will do me just fine.

Have a great day!
