Sunday's Best: "Being Mindful" & Smashion Interview

Hey Dolls,

How was your Labor Day weekend?  Mine was uneventful but relaxing in the same token.  Sometimes doing nothing is everything!!! I did an interview with Smashion, a really cool website where you can mix and match new and pre-loved fashion and connect with others who share your same love of fashion!  Here's the link if you'd like to check it out

Here is what I wore to church last Sunday!

The lesson was very timing per usual.  It was about being mindful of the things we say, do, think, places we go, and company we keep.
I have been learning how to be mindful of all of these things but most of all the company I keep/entertain.  It's sometimes hard to remember that everyone does not have your best interest at heart and over the years I've had to learn this the hard way.  I now try to surround myself with people who only want the best for me and limit my interactions with those with ulterior motives. True friends are like diamonds in a rough so it's safe to say I'm blessed for the very few "true" ones I do have!

My outfit was matchy matchy but I love it!

  3. I love that your shoes match your jacket!! Too cute!

  4. Love the look. Very classic/stylish. That dress fits you like nobody's bizness!

Love the message. Be mindful. It's simple, but yet complicated at the same time.

  5. ~Per usual you look gorgeous, but this outfit is just so incredibly chic and classy and sophisticated...I just can't even get over how awesome it is.
~Finally your H&M is opening!!!! HAHA I remember a whiiiile back when you first mentioned it.
~Great lesson. The older I get the more I've come to see the same thing about my friendships and who really ever did have me or our friendship in their best interest. I've recently separated myself from someone I considered one of my best girlfriends, but even though she considered me the same I just never felt it was as genuine as those other girlfriends that call me for no reason at all, where this particular friend only called me when she had a problem. And of course I was always there to give her advice and a helping hand, but I wanted our friendship to feel the way my other 'true' friendships felt, where I didn't feel like I was the only one reaching out. There's more to the story, but yeah. I agree with every word you said.
Have a lovely rest of your week, Trice! xo

  6. So nice visiting your blog again to read all these wonderful words that always build up my Spirit. You look great as usual. I love your necklace..:)

  7. Girl I so agree with you on the doing nothing is everything! It really is especially when you don't get a lot of "nothing" time! I love that necklace. I'm obsessed with necklaces like that lately!
