Tijuana Flats (River City Jacksonville, FL)

Hey Lovelies,

There is a relatively new marketplace that has been open on the north side of town for a few years and as of late there has been a lot of new eateries being built and I couldn't be more excited!

Tijuana Flats is one of the restaurants that have recently opened and a friend of mine and myself to give it a try for lunch!

When we walked in I was impressed by the artwork on the walls!!!  I love colorful restaurants!  It was also pretty packed which is what I expected considering we went around lunch time.

One thing that I absolutely LOVE is great customer service and that alone was a reason for me to go back to this Tijuana Flats!  The customer service here is AMAZING!!!  Everyone is so nice and attentive to your needs as a consumer.  So much so the hostess offered to bring me a drink while I waited in line!!!

Whenever I go to a Mexican restaurant, I feel it a necessity to order chips and salsa. Wellll....it was O.K.  I was hoping the salsa had a little more flavor.

However, the chicken and barbacoa flautas made up for it!  I actually enjoyed them very much!  They came with rice and beans which were pretty average.

The hot bar is awesome!  It has a variety of sauces from mild to HOTT so everyone can be happy!!!

My friend got the chicken chimichanga and they said they loved it!  It looked really good and I'm kind of upset that I didn't try it.

Happy Belated Independence Day!

Hey Lovelies,

I know I'm a several days late but how was everyone's Independence Day?!?!?  Mine was relaxed and very low-key.  I went to a BBQ and later on that evening it rained.  Not wanting to get caught up in the traffic coming home from fireworks, I decided to watch them on TV at home. Neverthelessm, it was still a pretty chill day.  Here's what I wore:

I think this was the perfect choice for a relaxed day with family and friends.  The blue was perfect to represent my patriotism.

I cinched in the waist with my all time favorite belt from H&M!!!  The gold accent in the belt went well with the gold flat sandals from Forever 21.

I would love to hear how you celebrated the 4th!  Leave me a comment letting me know what you did!  Be back soon!

Keke's Breakfast Cafe (Orlando, FL)

Hey Dolls,

Last weekend my good friend, Krystle, and I took a "Girl's Weekend" trip to Orlando!  We designated Friday for shopping so we knew we would need some great food to get us started.  Before hitting the Mall at Millenia, we stopped at Keke's Breakfast Cafe across the street for some good eats!

Judging from the line that seemed to be coming out of the door, we knew it had to be good and it absolutely was.  The host and waiters were soooooo welcoming, attentive, and entertaining!  I LOVE when a restaurant provides great customer service!

Check out these paintings of food...aren't they great!?!?  I loved them!

I ordered the Banana, Nut, and Caramel French Toast....YOU SEE IT, and YES IT WAS AS GOOD AS IT LOOKS!!!
 photo keke8_zpsd9f3b315.jpg
Oh, and what's breakfast with out a nice cup of joe right?
 photo keke4_zpsf9e5fb04.jpg
Krystle ordered the Pina Colada stuffed french toast.
 photo keke6_zps86d6fc29.jpg
This french toast was stuffed with pineapples, coconut, and cream cheese, topped with powdered sugar.  It was so decadent!

We both had scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, and home fries to go with our french toast.  We were pretty stuffed when we left Kekes but the amount of walking we did in the mall afterwards made up for it!

The next time I'm in Orlando during breakfast or lunch, I will certainly make a stop at Keke's.  If you are in Orlando or plan to visit, I highly recommend this place.  You will not be disappointed.  Keep in mind that they are only open for breakfast and lunch.

Ok dolls, that all I have for you right now but
I promise to be back soon!
