Copeland's Famous New Orleans Restaurant

Hey Lovelies,

I have to catch you all up on the good food I have been partaking in this summer, so I'm going to jump right into it!!!  My family came to visit me and we love New Orleans styled (cajun) food!  The first restaurant that came to mind was Copeland's, so I knew I had to take them there!

It has been a VERY long time since I've had Copeland's and it has changed for the better since the last time I was there.  We went during lunch and I was pleased with the amount of food given as a lunch portion not to mention the prices were right.

The side salad we had as a starter was pretty filling! It was your typical side salad with crisp Romaine lettuce, tomatoes, dressing, and homemade croutons

Ricochet Catfish:  This was my mom's dish and it was on point! It was a lightly fried catfish topped with pecans, sesame, fried onions, and Creole Meuniere sauce!   Amazing!  To go along with her catfish was mashed sweet potatoes that were divine and corn macque choux which was a creamy concoction of corn, peppers, in some sort creamy deliciousness!

The rest of us ordered this AMAZING dish....
Crabcake & Shrimp Alfredo!!!
It came with a meaty crab cake on top of a creamy bed of angel hair pasta and shrimp alfredo sauce.  I forgot to mention that all of the meals came with a fluffy biscuit....WHAT WHAT!!!!  I love biscuits! LOL!
I am looking forward to returning to Copeland's.  They have a Sunday's Brunch menu that looks phenomenal!  I have to make it there one of these Sundays for beignets and mimosas!  If you have a Copeland's near you, go there.  Their menu is pretty extensive so you're bound to find something you'd enjoy.

As always, thank you so much for stopping by!

I'll be back soon!
