What to wear to a BBQ

Hey Dolls,

A few weeks ago, my church hosted a BBQ with two of our sister churches and I wanted to be comfortable because it is still blazing hot in Florida!  We had so much food that my stomach hurts just thinking about how full I got that day.  Here's a little sneak peek at the chicken!  YUM!!!
Being comfortable doesn't mean you can't be cute.  I threw on this light fitting black dress, a fedora, shades, and gold flats.  This was my ideal outfit for a BBQ!
I don't know about you all but I am ready for some cooler weather!  I'm kind of over this Florida heat for now!  I'm ready for boot and scarf temperatures!
Fedora:  Vince Camuto
Shades: Coach
Dress:  H&M
Sandals:  Nine West via TJMaxx

How is the weather in your neck of the woods?  Has it cooled down yet or is it still hot?  What is your favorite season?  Mine is definitely fall and spring, not too hot and not too cold.
As always, thanks so much for stopping by!
Have a great week!

  1. You look so cute and that BBQ looks amazing!

  2. Yum on that chicken and your outfit is so fly! It's getting pretty chilly around these parts. We can get away with boots and scarves now.

  3. Why that chicken look so good. LOL. That fedora is super cute. Happy Fall!

  4. Your outfit is waaay cuter than the elastic waist pants and large adult bib that I had in mind. It's a BBQ fro-down, after all! ((winks))

  5. Cute outfit and that bbq chicken has me HUNGRY!!
