Be True To You...In Leopard Booties and Faux Fur

Hi Dolls,
I will never forget what bae's mom told me one day...she said "Katrice, God made you so unique.  When you walk into a room, people notice you.  They may not say anything, they may only stare, but they definitely notice.  Your uniqueness is a blessing, people will want to know who you are.  It will open doors for you. Some people will dislike you because of it, but you just keep being you because what God has for you, is for YOU!  You will be a blessing to others."  She always has the most encouraging words!  When she shared this with me, it was seemingly out of the blue and I received it humbly. She told me this years ago before I started blogging and her words were brought back to my remembrance recently.
"People may not always tell you how they feel about you,
but they always show you.  Pay attention."
This quote is two-fold.
I always try to do right by people.  It's not in my nature to be mean or rude.  I love to see people happy.  Sometimes that works out in my favor, sometimes it doesn't.  Either way, I treat people with respect and show common courtesy.  I've learned as an adult, that no matter what you say or do and no matter how great your intentions may be, some people will rock with you and some won't and at the end of the day, it's totally okay as long as you stay true to yourself.
Staying true to you applies to fashion as well.
When I'm asked what my personal style is,  I always say it's trendy- chic.  Honestly, I wear what I feel comfortable in and what makes me feel FAB whether it's trendy, classic, boho, etc.  but it's always going to be chic.  Two things I have always loved is faux fur and leopard prints.   When I saw both the booties and faux fur sleeved blouse I'm wearing in this post, I was smitten immediately!  I mean the gold in the leopard booties!!!  Can you say "Ga-Ga!"?
Alternative Styling
I had completely different ideas in my mind about how I would rock both items when I bought them but when I decided to get dressed, I put this look together and it worked!  That's the beauty of fashion!  You can rock what you love, however you want to.  Remember when I said Fashion is applied Art!?!   That's what makes your style, your style!  Trust me,  you guys will see both of these items again!
This is how I plan to change up the look later.
Faux Fur Blouse:  To dress up this gorgeous blouse, I'd love to wear it with a pencil skirt or high-waisted trousers, a clutch, or quilted black purse the next time around.
Gold Leopard Print Booties:  The possibilities for these baddies are endless.  I like the look with the skinny pants but next time I'll rock them with a moto jacket. graphic tee, and dark sunnies!

Thanksgiving is tomorrow and I have so much to be thankful for! To name a few, I am thankful for my life, my family, a great guy in my life, good health, friends who support me, and a good spirit!
Have a wonderful holiday, continue staying true to yourself, and don't spend too much on Black Friday!
As always, thanks for stopping by!
XOXO
