Hey guys!
Im back with another quick, easy, and healthy meal! Marinated Chicken breast, Orzo, and Asparagus!!!
Here’s what you’ll need:
- Italian Dressing
- Thinly Sliced Chicken Breast
- 2 cloves of garlic (chopped)
- Salt, Pepper, Oregano
- Orzo
- Chicken Stock
- Aparagus
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Directions:
THE CHICKEN
1.) Lay your Chicken breast on a cookie sheet or in a shallow dish. Season your chicken lightly.
2.) Coat the chicken with Italian Dressing (Which makes for a FANTASTIC marinade!!!)
3.) Cover the chicken with aluminum foil and put in a preheated oven (350degrees) and let cook.
THE ASPARAGUS
1.) Cut of fthe bottom pieces of the asparagus because that part isn’t very appetizing.
2.) Lay the asparagus put on a cookie dish.
3.) Drizzle Olive Oil all over the asparagus
4.) Season the asparagus with salt, pepper, and the chopped garlic
5.) Mix up with your hands to get the seasoning all over the asparagus.
6.) Stick in the oven along with the chicken and cook!
THE ORZO (Orzo is a pasta that looks and kinda tastes like rice!!!)
1.) In a saucepan, heat a can of chicken stock
2.) add 1 cup of orzo to the chicken stock
3.) stir until the orzo is al dente
Plate and serve! I add a drizzle of the heated italian dressing over the orzo with a pinch of oregano. This meal takes no time and it’s delicious!
