Hey Dolls,
I want to start by giving a BIG WAVE and WELCOME to all of my new followers!!!! I am always so humbled and amazed that people are interested in my blog! I appreciate you all , both new and old!!!
I have made it home to TX for the holidays! I am so happy to be around my family, you just don’t know!!! Yesterday my mommy and I went shoe shopping!!!!!!!!!!!!! There is a store here called MJM Designer Shoes and I yearn to go there everytime I come home because ofcourse we don’t have one in the city I live in. It is a smorgasbord of incredible designer shoes at a fraction of the original cost!!!!
Here is what I was wearing…..Oh and YES I’m rocking my natural hair in a puff ponytail!!!
I had to wear my flat comfy boots that were easy to take off and put on!
My mom is a pretty good photographer!!! The pictures always come out so clear when she takes them!
Here’s my look with the peacoat on….although the weather isn’t as cold as it normally is this time of year.
And another…
I found 3 great pairs of shoes and I can’t wait to show you guys!!!
Now on to some “Good Eats”!
My mom’s B-day was on the 18th and we took her to Cheddars Casual Cafe.
As you can see from this picture the line was out the door.
The decor on the inside is so cool! They had a really neat aquarium on the inside.
This is a casual dining restaurant with handmade food at an exceptional value, just like the menu says!!!
The food was pretty good and if I’m not mistaken all four of our meals were each under $10. Here’s what we had:
Cocktails for starters….
-
Classic Top Shelf Margarita-My Fav
-
Mango Strawberry Frozen Margarita-Mom
-
Some Crazy Drink I forgot the name of-My Brother
-
Old Fashion Lager-Dad
The FOOD:
Grilled Tilapia and Shrimp w/ Corn off the Cob and Green Beans (Mom)
Chicken Fried Chicken w/ loaded Mashed Potatoes and Corn off the Cob (Brother)
Baby Back Ribs w/ Baked Potato and Broccoli (Dad)
Chicken and Waffles (ME) I have to admit that Gladys
(Gladys Knights Chicken and Waffles in ATL, Ga) has got me spoiled because these did NOT do the job….they weren’t terrible though 🙂
My mom enjoyed her evening! Those red velvet cupcakes flew all the way from Florida with me courtesy of Cami Cakes. Those of you who have had these little babies can understand!!! Had to for my mommy!
Talk to you all later!

Omg, you are too cute AND you're visiting San Antonio right now too for the holidays!!! What are the odds that I'd find another blogger visiting their hometown (that's the same as mine) at the same time?! 😀 Well, I'm not sure if you're originally from here, but that's still crazy that I came to your blog and saw this. And it's also really funny that there's a Cheddars that my family loves right down the street. I wonder if this is the same one. Anywho, pretty blog. And you're an adorable little lady! I just wanted to say hi when I read this post. Happy Holidays to you and your family.
You really are my favorite restaurant blogger. You make it all come alive (plus, you order the best food). Plus, you look fabulous while you are doing it all.*Erin
