Homemade Dove Hot Chocolate

Hey Dolls,

I have been wanting to try this recipe for Candy Bar Hot Chocolate ever since I watched my girl, Monique from Yes, Divas Can Cook youtube video.  Although the weather is still up and down here in Florida (feels like Spring again :/) , I made me some of this silky hot chocolate anyways.

Here’s what I used:

  • 1 cup of 2% milk

  • 6 pieces of Dove Milk Chocolate

  • 1/4 teaspoons of vanilla extract

  • 1 tablespoon of Vanilla Creamer

  • Candy Cane for Dunking!!! 🙂

  • Directions

1.) Heat up 1 cup of milk on low-med heat.

2.) Add your 6 pieces of Dove Chocolate and stir slowly.

Keep the heat low so the chocolate doesn’t scorch.

3.) After the chocolate is mixed well into the milk, add 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract

4.) Add 1 Tablespoon of vanilla creamer

5.) Stir well, pour, and enjoy!!!

Who needs Swiss Miss!!!  This was quick, easy, and delish! Next time I will surely top it off with some whipped cream!!!

    Talk to you all soon.
