Hey Dolls,
For some reason I like to cook more when it’s cooler outside. Last night I made some Spicy Honey Chicken to warm me up!!! Here’s what you need:
Some items I didn’t include in the picture and some in the picture, I omitted. I used the following
-
Thin Sliced Chicken Breast: Cut into bite size pieces
-
3 Garlic Cloves: Chopped
-
2 pieces of a Ginger Root: Grated
-
4 scallions: Chopped
-
Medium Onion: Sliced
-
Red Pepper Flakes (I used a left over packet fr. Dominos lol)
-
Honey: 2 big drizzles (Eyeball it to your liking)
-
Chicken Broth: 1 and 1/2 cups
-
Corn Starch
-
Seasoning Salt and Cracked Pepper
-
Crescent Rolls
DIRECTIONS:
1.) Cut and season your chicken
2.) Cut and chop your garlic, onion, and scallions
3.) Grate your ginger
4.) Brown your chicken then add the onions, garlic, ginger, red pepper flakes, and honey
5.) Add your chicken stock and a table spoon of cornstarch mixed with water into the pan to thicken up the liquid.
6.) After everything is cooked and well combined, add chopped scallions and mix well.
7.) I LOVE the little crescent rolls by Pillsbury. When I make this dish, I drizzle a little honey over the top of them.
8.) Last but not least, plate over rice , serve, and ENJOY!!!
Quick, easy, and yummy meal for the work week! If you try it, please let me know how it turned out.
Talk to you all soon!
