Color-blocked & Jack’s Sandwich Shop

Hey Dolls,

I feel bad that I haven’t been able to post much as of late.  I have been Super Busy!!!  That shall soon pass though and I’ll be back to blogging as normal.  Here is a quick OOTD and Restaurant Review to wet you whistle a little LOL!

Oh yeah…still rocking my natural curls and coils!!!

I actually wore this outfit a couple weekends ago and forgot to post it.  The color-blocked top is actually a dress!  I like it better a top so I put my high-waist skirt on top of it.

One thing I love about summer break is the opportunity to meet up with friends for lunch!  My friend Teresa and I met up a few days ago at Jack’s Sandwich Shop!

This was my second time eating at Jack’s.  The first time had to be about 5 or 6 years ago.  I remember what I likes most about them…..THEIR PRICES!!! I also like the small diner atmosphere.  There’s just something I enjoy about watching my food be prepared.

I had to have a cherry limeade for my drink!  Ever since getting cherry limeades at Sonic as a kid, I’ve always gone for it if a restaurant offered it, which has been rare.

I had the bacon cheeseburger and fries.

POSITIVES:  My meal only cost $3.90 and the burger tasted better than any McDonalds burger ever could (Which I don’t eat)!!!

NOT SO GREAT:  The bread was a little stale and the fries were very bland.

My friend had the SlawDog and Fries

Positives:  The Hot Dog was only a dollar and some change.

Not so Great:  Fries were bland, bread was stale, and hot dog was “just ok”.

Overall, I’d give Jack’s a B-.  I think the one thing that would help them a lot is soft, fresh bread! However, the prices alone would keep me coming back.

I’m in a very  big fashion show tomorrow evening and can’t wait to share pictures with you all.

So I shall be back soon…PROMISE!!!

Cute hairstyle! It's always fun to wear things for purposes other than what they are for and yes it expands your wardrobe! Cute look!
