Hey Dolls,
I’ve been meaning to show you all my tropical inspired outfit that I wore to a Luau-themed social last weekend. So here goes! I have been really trying to wear my natural hair out a lot more since its summer time. I added a flower to my hair to make my look more tropical-esq and I just so happened to have a few leis hanging around LOL!
Here is some of the decor I was able to capture.
I didn’t even get any pictures of all of the delicious food we had. Next time I’ll be sure to charge my battery up completely. It was a great evening with wonderful people and wonderful food, you can take my word for it!
Now on to the BBQ Chicken Flatbread that I made last night!!! It was quick, easy, and delicious. I got the idea from Mrs. Ninah Bee and changed it up just a little for my liking.
Here is what you need:
Naan Bread/4 Cheese Mexican Blend/ Chicken/ BBQ Sauce/ Onion/ Oregano
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees.
1.) Cut up some chicken, add a little seasoning, and mix it with the BBQ Sauce. I used Rotisserie Chicken but you can cook some chicken and cut it up. I just wanted something quick so went for the already cooked chicken.
2.) Add a little BBQ Sauce to your Naan Bread ( Indian Fire-baked leavened bread), sprinkle chopped red onion, and sprinkle on a few dashes of oregano leaves.
3.) Spread your BBQ Chicken mixture across the bread.
4.) Add your cheese blend on top. Pop it in the oven for about 10-15 minutes.
5.) Enjoy your BBQ Chicken Flatbread!
This is a delicious meal and it’s probably healthier that your regular ole’ pizza. It’s loaded with flavor and takes no time to make.
Have a fabulous weekend! Be back soon!
~Trice
