Hey Dolls!
How have you all been? Great I hope! I’ve been OK. Summer is coming to a quick close and I’m a little sad about it. It seems like it just started. It’s all good though because I’m looking forward to a great year at school!
The Adversary Can’t Steal My Joy:
Yesterday morning (Sunday) when I was ready to leave for church, I discovered a dead car battery! I called a few church buddies to stop by on the way to church to jump me but when we tried, we discovered my jumper cables weren’t working. We had to go to Advanced Auto to get new cables and when I hopped up in their jeep, the split in the back of one of my fav high-waisted skirts REALLY SPLIT lol! I had to change into these high-waisted trousers instead.
We got back to the house and jumped my car. We realized that my brake lights weren’t going out when the car was off, which was the culprit in draining my battery. We went back to Advance Auto to get a new brake light switch. By the time we finished all of this, we knew church would be over.
To God be the Glory because I talked to the Pastor and his wife and was able to get the word anyways! It definitely applied to my life at this very moment. It was about surrounding yourself with people who are supportive of you and are positive forces in helping you be the best you that you can be. There is nothing worse than someone who always says negative things about your dreams and aspirations instead of encouraging you to go for what you want in life! Great message!

I read a lot of blogs so it’s always hard to pick a set amount and though I think everyone deserves this award, I’ll stick to the rules and choose 10 so I nominate the following
Last but not least 7 random facts about me….
1.) I’m thinking about hiring someone to wash my dishes, fold my clothes, and clean my baseboards lol…Just kidding….naw for real though.
2.) I’m becoming increasingly comfortable with online shopping. I use to be afraid of it. I have a new found love for Forever 21!
3.) Though catchy, I love that song “Call Me, Maybe”!
4.) I’ve been on a mad hunt for some neon yellow heels but it seems like everywhere is sold out.
5.) I’ve got the baby itch! (Need that ring first *wink *wink)
6.) My little dog who I love so dearly(college grad gift from my boo) is sick and it makes me sad…pray for her.
7.) I have cheerleading practice in an hour…that’s pretty random aye? Yes I coach!
Quick Question Before I Go:
Is anyone else having issues with Blogger posting your pictures sideways???? I swear it gives me heartburn!!! LOL!

But I haven’t had an issue with sideways pics but I have had an issue with blogger putting the pictures wherever on the blog I have to adjust/move the pic about 10 times before it’s where I need it to be! LOL at the skirt ripping story! (sorry it was funny!) But that message did hit home for what you explained and how your day started. You had people, good people, that you could count on when the tough got going. They helped you and no matter how much the car kept wanting to hold you back, they stayed with you and it didn't win. You got the message anyway!
