Work OOTD and What’s Cooking W/ Trice!

Hey Dolls,

How was everyone’s weekend?  It’s humpday so the weekend is almost here again and I, for one, can’t wait!!!  Did I tell you guys that H&M finally opened here!!!!!  So STOKED!!!  So that’s where I’ll be headed this weekend!  Anywho, here is my work OOTD!  It’s pretty colorful!

Here are the colorful sandals that inspired my look for today!

I love this hi-lo dress!  It’s flowy and really comfy!  I had to make it work appropriate with this black cardi because it’s sleeveless.

I think next time I wear this ensemble, I’ll add a colorful belt to the look to pull it all together a little better.

What’s Cooking With Trice?!?!  “Fried Rice”

So I haven’t done a recipe post in a while so here goes!  Do you ever have a lot of left over rice from a meal and don’t know what to do with it?

My solution is to make your own version of fried rice and here’s what you need:

Leftover Rice

Meat of Choice :  I used what I had in the fridge Smoked Turkey Sausage

1-2 eggs depending on how much rice you have

1/2 chopped onion and green pepper

1 TSP of soy sauce

1.) Saute your veggies and meat together then set aside.

2.) In a different skillet, add your rice and soy sauce.  Heat through.

3.) Add your meat, veggies, and eggs.  Mix until egg is completely cooked.

4.) Plate and enjoy!!!

This is a really quick and easy meal to prepare and you can add as many items to it as you please.  If you try it please let me know how it turns out!  Have a great day!

XOXO

Cute look! That colorblocked dress is pretty. And of course I'm loving the recipe. I've cooked this before but never tried it with turkey sausage.

SO excited that H&M opened in your neck of the woods…I have a feeling the oxblood leather peplum top may not be at your location. It was released in August and the sales assoc told me that it was avail in limited quanitities at select locations…

Those shoes rock. And they look fabulous on you with the black dress. I love to save rice as left-overs for fried rice. Sometimes we put left-over rice in scrambled eggs for breakfast too.Have a great weekend.Sam
