God Works in Mysterious Ways

Hey Dolls,

I’m back with a Sunday’s Best outfit from a couple of weeks ago.  I immediately fell in love with this blouse when I first laid eyes on it!  Unfortunately, the pictures don’t do it justice.  I also want to share a story with you.

Do you ever wonder why things happen the way they do?  Why certain people come into your lifeI know I do.  I used to fret over things like this but now I understand that everything happens for a reason and I truly believe it.  It’s not by happenstance that we go through the things we go through whether good or not so good.  I try to learn from every circumstance.

A colleague of mine, who I have known for the last 5 years or so was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer a few months after having her second child about a year and a half ago.  She seemed like the picture of health and went in due to discomfort not knowing how grim the diagnosis would be.  Over the last year she was OK and went in regularly for her treatmentsI found out this Tuesday that things turned for the worst and she went into hospice.  I promised to go and visit Thursday but she passed away Wednesday morning, the day after I found out.

It is still very hard to grasp the fact that she’s no longer here but I know that God works in miraculous ways.  She was an absolute delight to be around.  She always and I mean ALWAYS had a smile on her face.  In 5 years of knowing her I can honestly say that I never once saw her get upset.  Even in her last moments, I was told she was asking everyone else if they were O.K.  She was truly an angel and in times like this understand that God has a greater purpose for why He does what He does.  She touched soooooo many lives in such a positive way which will make it easy to celebrate the life she lived.  God works in mysterious ways and I truly believe we should mind who we entertain for we may be entertaining angels.

Be blessed!

~Trice

I know that the good Lord brings people in….and out of our lives for a reason. I had a similar experience with a colleague that passed away a year ago. God is omnipotent and we must always trust in him. Take it to the Lord and he will reveal to you the lesson to be learned in time.BTW, that blouse and skirt is bangin'!!!
