What’s Cooking With Trice: Healthy Options

Hi Dolls,

I was in the mood to cook dinner the other night and per usual, I was hungry “NOW” and wanted to make something that wouldn’t take long.  I had recently been over to Major Must Haves blog and saw this recipe and it had been on my mind to try so I did and it was simply amazing!  She has amazing style and can cook too!  My type of blogger.  Check her blog out here.

I’m not even sure what to call this recipe but
here’s what you need:

(This recipe calls for spinach as well but I didn’t have any on hand)

1.) Cut up your veggies, season, and saute.  Remove the veggies from the skillet and set aside.

2.) In the same skillet, brown the ground turkey then add veggies back into the pan and mix well.

3.)  Add cheese to the mixture, let the cheese melt then serve.

I served it over brown rice and quinoa that night but for left overs yesterday, I stuffed the mixture into a whole wheat tortilla and had a very flavorful turkey taco!  Thanks so much for sharing Major Must Haves!  This is a delicious combination of flavors!

Thanks for stopping by and if you decide to try it let me know!

Take care!

XOXO

Omgosh this looks so good and HEALTHY! Right up my ally about now. I randomly logged into my Bloglovin account and saw this update from you…I don't think your feed transferred when I switched to using Feedly. Rectifying that right now!
