Ladies Day Off (Photo Heavy)

Hi Dolls,

Last week I had the pleasure of attending the debut Ladies Day Off (LDO) in Jacksonville!   LDO was launched by three dynamic ladies who recognized a need for events that promote building strong relationships among women. I think this is so awesome because us women need to do a better job supporting one  another.  It was so uplifting to see so many ladies sipping, socializing, supporting one another, and just letting their hair down for a little fun, rest, and relaxation!

Of course I have to fill you in on what I was wearing for the event. I found these really cute pants at Ross and the top at Forever 21.  My sheer heels, which were a hit that day, are from ShoeDazzle.

Oh and look who I ran into at the event!  The lovely Jillian from NuSophisticate blog!  She was just as lovely in person as she is on her blog.  It is always so nice to meet fellow bloggers in person!

The event:

With out further a do, here’s a quick recap of what went on at the Ladies Day Off, Jacksonville event!

The complimentary wine kept coming! There was nothing better than sipping on a chilled glass of wine while shopping or getting your nails done!

Mini-Spa Services:  This was probably my favorite part of the event because I love being pampered!  Aveda Institute so graciously offered complimentary back massages, hand massages, mini facials, and manicures.  Very relaxing!

Vendors:

There were several local vendors to support at this event! I will certainly be making another visit to them sometime this summer!

Pampered Chef:  You already know your girl is going to have a Pampered Chef party with my friends!  If you’re in town, let me know and I’ll be sure to send you an invite!

Nad’s Petit Edibles:  Very good!  I loved this crab salad she had for us to sample!  I came back like 10 a couple times for seconds!

Kreasions Ultd had the cutest sweet treats and the pretzels were delicious!

More fabulous vendors including Luckee Star cards, LUSH cosmetics, Jamberry Nails. Scentsy, Fresh Face Girl, and Suga Suga Scrubs!

Roci Fashions:  She had really cute and trendy clothing items!  She also gave away free jewelry just for stopping by and entering her email list.  You guys know I love free!

Pop Jewelry: This is the coolest concept…you get a bracelet
and add the pop buttons of your choice to  the bracelet or necklace.

I was really impressed by this concept and more so by the fact that a 14 year old girl came up with it!!!

Here is the Florida State Seminole bracelet I put together to give you all an idea of how it works.

Local Artist:  There were a few local artist with some of their pieces of art work for sale!

There was also a caricature artist there doing illustrations of all the ladies!  I like his way of creating the caricatures.  He had a conversation with you to gauge the things you like along with your personality, and created a masterpiece.  He was awesome!

Here is what he came up with for me!  I thought it was super cute!

Overall, I think the Ladies Day Off event was a true success!   There were other vendors and activities I didn’t get around to like the outdoor yoga but I am thrilled that I had the opportunity to attend the first event for Jacksonville and experience what I did.  There is going to be a Ladies Day Off event happening soon in South Florida so if you’d like to attend visit their website for information on when and where it will be.  It is definitely an event you would enjoy. Us ladies can always use a day to unwind, socialize, and get a little pampering.

As always thank you for stopping by!

I’ll be back soon!

~Trice
