Last night, several of my favorite foodie ladies and I decided to have an evening of wine and dining! We decided on Restaurant Medure in Ponte Vedra and due to the fact that their wine is half price on Monday evenings, our decision was a no brainer.
For starters, we all indulged in a glass of wine or one of their amazing cocktails. I had the Pinot Noir which was amazing!
This cocktail is called the Plum Dandy. It is made with Campo de Encanto Acholado Pisco, Lemon Black Plum Shrub Syrup, Hibiscus, and Egg White! Yes, egg white! Who knew you can get your protein for the day in a cocktail!
Restaurant Medure owned by Executive Chef David Medure who also owns one of my favorite burger joints, M Shack (here)! I love the burgers at M Shack so I was pretty confident that the fine dining alternative would not disappoint. In no particular order here’s what we had!
Arugula Salad: served with local fall veggies, grilled zucchini, artichoke puree, and basil vinaigrette.
Medure’s Meatball Sliders: made with fresh mozzarella and housemade marinara.
M Burger Sliders: made with American Cheese, Lettuce, Tomatoes, Pickles, and Shack Sauce….SO GOOD!
Lamb Sausage Slider: Made with sauteed onions and peppers and provolone.
Truffle Fries: Drizzled with Truffle oil and Parmesan! These were so good I had to stop myself from eating too many of them.
Medure’s Meatloaf: This was so delicious! It was a friend’s dish but we all got a nibble off of it.
I’ve never seen meatloaf served with crispy onion rings but it totally worked and the whipped potatoes were almost to pretty to eat! The veggies and the roasted crimini gravy were perfect!
Beef Carpaccio: Served with a fried egg, mustard vinaigrette, arugula salad, and crostini. Though I consider myself a foodie, I can not bring myself to eat raw food. I just can’t. My friend who ordered this loved it though!
Fish and Chips: Served with crispy spinach, malt vinegar, and lemon caper tartar sauce. It was very good.
After we had great drinks, laughs, and good food, some of the ladies wanted something a little sweet!
The Souffle of the Day: was a Chocolate Pistachio Souffle. It was pretty tasty but the winner for the evening was the…..
Fuji Apple Streusel Tart: This dessert was simply perfection served with honey ice cream and apple molasses. Can you say decadence?!?!?!
We had an amazing time! Restaurant Medure is the perfect place for date night, ladies night, or an evening of fine dining with your family. The ambiance was beautiful and they are in a great location in Ponte Vedra.
