My sweetie and I decided to kick off my holiday break from school with a dinner at Bonefish Grill this past Friday. Bonefish is definitely one of my favorite restaurants in town and I especially love it when they launch new menus. I was invited out to try the new winter menu and honey, it did not disappoint at all!
Upon our arrival we were presented with the specials of the day and decided to order a few items including the Lobster Stuffed Shrimp! It was butterflied shrimp with a creamy lobster and shrimp imperial stuffing, topped with a lemon caper butter sauce. It was do succulent and delicious, I could’ve ordered two more and been satisfied for the evening!
One of our favorite appetizers at Bonefish Grill is the Thai Coconut Shrimp! Although it’s not on the winter menu we just had to indulge in its crunchy, sweet, and savory goodness.
This dish came highly recommended by the hostess and our waiter so we didn’t want to miss out on the Crab Crusted Pompano! This was a firm fish with a garlic and crab crust, topped with a crab and white wine lemon butter sauce. It too, was amazing!
My guy couldn’t resist getting the half pound burger! He swears by it and believe me, it was worth every bite! It was perfectly cooked to medium and had all the right toppings!
Our gracious waiter surprised us with the Macadamia Nut Brownie! It was incredibly decadent and rich! It was topped with a silky chocolate sauce, crunchy macadamia nuts, and served with a raspberry sauce, vanilla ice cream, and whipped cream. It was almost too pretty to eat!
For a night cap, we got one of their seasonal signature cocktails, the Winter White Cosmo which was like Christmas in a glass! It features Reyka Vodka, Cointreau, St.Germain Elderflower liqueur, white cranberry juice and fresh lime juice and is handcrafted to order.
We had a wonderful time and were super stuffed by the time we left!

Filet and Colossal Shrimp Scampi – a 6 ounce USDA Choice filet mignon topped with colossal shrimp, scampi butter sauce and served with steamed broccoli and garlic whipped potatoes.
If you’re in the mood for fancy fish, the Mahi Mahi Oscar, wood-grilled and topped with lump crab, asparagus and lemon butter sauce is sure to impress.
The Holiday Indulgent Spinach, Bacon + Blue Cheese Arctic Char, a delicate, mild, clean flavored fish wood-grilled, topped with spinach, bacon, and blue cheese with a lemon butter drizzle
Rhea’s Cobia a moist, firm fish with a sweet, yet distinct rich flavor wood-grilled, topped with sautéed spinach, lump crab and lime tomato garlic sauce.
