Exaggerated Bell Sleeves

Hi Dolls,

Spring is in the air!  At least here in Florida…at least until the next cold front comes through.  Nevertheless, this past weekend was absolutely gorgeous and while we still technically have a month to go until it’s officially spring, I don’t mind dressing for the spring-like weather, hence this beautifully colored, off the shoulder, exaggerated bell sleeve top with white pants!  To stick to the so-called fashion rules and not being a complete fashion rebel, I wore closed-toe pumps instead of sandals!  (Or maybe I’m in serious need of a pedi, but I digress!)

So about these exaggerated bell sleeves, particularly off-the shoulders.  I think I may have a growing affinity for this combination and you may be seeing the look on me a lot more as we approach the summer.

Do you remember here and here when I talked about my undying love for all things off-the-shoulder?

Well, I am even more in love now that I can have that plus an exaggerated bell sleeve in a pretty color!  This top literally oozes femininity and romance and I’m totally here for it!

I mean do you see how beautifully the sleeves fall with the “Flicka da Wrist”?  GORG!

Look at the “Flicka Da Wrist”!!!

Besides having an excuse to quote Kevin Gates, I couldn’t help but flick my wrist all day to give everyone the full effect of my new favorite top!

I love how the sleeves perfectly flair!  Seriously so pretty!

(Can you tell how obsessed I am with this top?)

You guys know I love a trendy, chic piece and the exaggerated bell sleeves are a trend I can get with!

Like many trends, the bell sleeve has been re-introduced to the fashion scene as I’m pretty sure it was around during the 70’s along with the bell bottoms I mentioned in this post a few days back.  Hey, they say history repeats itself right!?!?

My photographer said I was giving her all sorts of Frida Kahlo vibes with the hair slicked back, statement earrings, and the bright red lips!  I can dig it because Frida was a dope artist!  What do you guys think?  Let me know in the comments below and as always, thanks so much for stopping by!

XOXO
