Hi Dolls! You know how some days you feel like a burger and fries and other days you feel like living your whole best, healthy life! Well I recently experienced the latter when I stopped in at the new and improved Kairo’s Food, Juice, and Smoothies for a lunch consisting of healthy options! I became an instant fan!
From an aesthetic point of view, the bright and colorful decor are super inviting when you first walk in! I absolutely love the hands holding the orange on the middle of the wall. At the bottom of the orange is the biblical scripture Genesis 1:29 that says
“And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; o you it shall be for meat.”
I love that they believe everything we need to sustain a healthy diet, has been placed on the Earth for us. I also learned that Kairo means “The best time of God.” Did I mention how much I love them?!?
You can really taste the freshness in their food. For starters, I got the shrimp ceviche. When people say taste the rainbow, this is the kind of food I think of. Food that’s full of color, has to be full of flavor! This ceviche was bursting with flavor! It was as flavorful as it looks! The fresh tostados and guacamole were the perfect compliment.
I created my own wrap, starting with a tomato tortilla. I picked steak for my protein, spinach for my green, quinoa for my grain, sweet potatoes and roasted onions for my two veggies, and I subbed guacamole for the green avocado sauce they were out of that day. The wrap was absolutely delicious and very filling. The only thing it was missing was feta cheese which is exactly what I’ll add next time!
To wash everything down I tried the Red Infusion Juice. It’s made with beets, cucumber, red apple, and celery. It was very refreshing and I felt like I was replenishing my body with all sorts of healthy goodness after drinking it!
I wish I had time to stop in to grab a juice before work in the mornings. I really want to try the Morning Energizer that’s made with carrots, beets, ginger, green apple, and orange. Sounds like the perfect drink to get your day started!
I am completely loving Kairo’s. I think we deserve more healthier options like this when it comes to dining out. If you’re looking for colorful, healthy foods that will revitalize your daily dining options, stop by Kairos. I totally recommend them!
As always, thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great week!
