Spring has sprung! Well almost. We are a few short days away from the first day of Spring and the weather has been so lovely! Spring and Fall are my favorite times of year. Mostly because the weather isn’t too hot or too cold but also because everything seems cheerier, including my wardrobe. Ahhh…who am I kidding, I like dressing for all of the seasons but in the Spring, I love for my clothes to be colorful. This two-piece from Souk and Sepia is a perfect transitional piece from Winter to Spring, and I am loving everything about it!
I was instantly drawn to this two-piece because of the watercolor print and asymmetry. Teal blue is my favorite color so that was a bonus! I also love that it’s a two-piece so I can separate the items and wear them with other pieces of clothing. I recently wore the top with a pair of jeans and pumps and it was a hit! Gotta love versatility.
Since it’s still technically winter but we’re transitioning into Spring, I wore my cut out knee-high sandal boots. Haha, I think I just made up a word. Sandal boots? I mean that’s what they are. The toes are cut out but they go up to my knee like boot. I got them from ShoeDazzle a while ago.
In other news, I am a sucker for a cute hat and I have been waiting patiently to wear the sherbet colored hat I bought at Forever 21 last Spring. Ironically, the orange color matched the two piece.
It added a nice but subtle pop of color to the entire look.
What are your favorite looks for this time of year? I’m all about the colorful dresses, jumpers, and all things off the shoulder. I hope those never go out of style!
Happy almost Spring! As always, thanks so much for stopping by! Stay cute and stylish!
