My Stay at Bellyard Hotel

With the hustle and bustle of everyday life, sometimes I crave a getaway where I can let my hair down, unplug, and get in some much needed self-care. Recently, I did exactly that! I made a quick solo trip up to Atlanta and stayed at the beautiful Bellyard Hotel located at The Interlock in West Midtown. The Bellyard Hotel is relatively new and a part the Marriott Tribute Portfolio of Boutique hotels. It is literally everything you could ask for in an accommodating space for self-care and relaxation! The vibes were on 10 from the moment I stepped on to the property! The hotel lobby, the elevator, the main floor! In the words of my students, “everything was giving what it was suppose to give”! It’s no surprise, Bellyard is consistently being recognized one lists of Atlanta’s “BEST”!

I was hosted by Bellyard Hotel for this stay but opinions are my own.

Welcome to Bellyard Hotel

Of course, I was excited before my arrival but when the elevator doors opened and I beheld the lobby of the hotel, I tried very hard to suppress my excitement. I had to actively check to make sure my mouth wasn’t gaped open in awe! The lobby was absolutely beautiful! There was such a welcoming aura in the atmosphere and everywhere I turned, people were… vibing! That’s the best word I can use to describe the scene. It was a Saturday so people were sipping cocktails, listening to music, having dinner, and just enjoying each others company. The Bellyard holds true to being a dynamic place where kindred spirits come together to experience a creative and inspired environment!  It is truly a place for work, play, and relaxation.

The awe-inspiration continued around every corner I turned! When I checked in, I was greeted with a glass of champagne and when I got up to the floor my room was on, you guessed it, more “Oh wow, look at that!” moments! Ohhhhh but when I got to my room! Beautiful! Of course! And so spacious! My name was on the LCD smartTV screen which made me feel so special (it’s the little things) and I had the most perfect view of downtown Atlanta and a cute window seat to sit and enjoy it.

Atlanta Skyline

If you ever visit Bellyard, be sure to get a room with a view! The room also came with a minibar with local treats, luxurious robes, and a clothing steamer. The bathroom was lovely and equipped with Grown Alchemist bath amenities. I was so pleased with the overall aesthetics of the room! They definitely paid close attention to details during the design process.

After settling in, I made my way back downstairs to enjoy what Bellyard had to offer! My first stop was the Garden Courtyard. This beautiful space, designed by local muralist, Lacey C. Longino was whimsical and picturesque! I had to take my photo op!

Afterwards, I went over to their elevated bar/lounge, Drawbar. I found a seat and enjoyed some bar bites and cocktails! The sliders and Parmesan truffle fries were incredible! As was my cocktail, “When Life Gives You Lemons”. I enjoyed my early dinner then headed to the rooftop patio.

Another beautiful feature of the Bellyard! The views of the Atlanta skyline are notable from the patio as well! I ordered the “Teacher’s Lounge” (perfect drink for me) and enjoyed my night cap in front of a cozy fire pit before heading back to my room. Unwinding in my room was so comforting as I viewed the city lights of the skyline before turning in for the evening.

The next morning before heading out, I made a stop at Saint Germain for coffee.

This French bakery is known around the city of Atlanta for having authentic French pastries, macarons, and chocolates, and now has a home inside of Bellyard as well.

I didn’t want to leave but as the saying goes, “All good things must come to an end.”! I stayed up until the last possible moment and left with a big smile on my face. Overall, the Bellyard Hotel was perfection. I couldn’t have asked for better accommodations to relax and recharge. I highly recommend them for a stay any time you’re in Atlanta.

As always, thank you so much for stopping by!

XOXO
